Hello
Everyone! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
I hope this finds you all well?
As many of you know it's been a long time since I have written, or updated the website.
As some know I was pastoring for a time at a Columbus area Vineyard Church and have been back
in school (not easy after 20 years) now for almost two years. It is because of this that I have not been able to publish
any more articles on the website.
As many of you know also, pastoring is a 24 hour a day commitment that is really never over. It is
because of this that I was not able to come back and write as I wished. As a pastor thoough, your congregation is the
family that God has entrusted (you with), put in your care and protection.
It's with this, that I will not been publishing any more for now. That could always change in the
future. However, for now I will be shutting down the webpage for the time being.
By the Lord's leading, I am looking into starting a new ministry (whatever He wants it to look like) which
will not leave any time for current publishing on this page.
This has been a very hard decision for me (with much prayer and consideration), a very painful and
tearful one for me, if I am honest, but one I feel is necessary at this time. One chapter has closed, and the Lord is birthing
the new one.
It comes down to remembering that this life and all we do is bout Him and His plans for this
world and for our lives. Our lives are (really) not our own. Something I need to be reminded of .....sometimes often!
It's with this said, that I want to thank all of you for the privilege of serving you and praying
for, and crying with you. It has been an honor and a blessing to be able to serve you. and be part of your lives.
I want you all to know I will continue to keep you in my prayers. I ask that you do the same for
Paige and I as we continue to seek Him in this new ministry.
If you need to contact me, please feel free to continue to do so. I will respond as I am able.
My prayer for you is that you continue to grow in Him:
"so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,"
(Colossians 1:10 NIV)
...and know how richly and extravagantly He has loved:
"Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called
children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him."
(1 John 3:1 NKJV)
...and blessed you with all that is His:
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual
blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, "
(Ephesians 1:3 NKJV)
May the Lord bless you alll!
Sincerely in Christ's love,
John
